On January 8, 2017, the company was invited to participate in the 2016 annual summary meeting of the national marine public welfare industry research special project titled "Research and Demonstration of High Value Utilization of Fujian Characteristic Marine Biological Resources," which was hosted by the Fujian Fisheries Research Institute. The project invited project supervision experts and business experts to attend the meeting. Over 30 people attended the meeting, including leaders from the Provincial Fisheries Research Institute, project leaders from participating units such as the Third Institute of Oceanography, Xiamen University, Jimei University, and our company.
The organizer summarized the overall completion status of the 2016 project, analyzed problems encountered during project execution, and presented the 2017 annual work plan. Runke, as the sub-task leader, reported on "Research on the key technology for the industrialization of active substances in abalone viscera." At the meeting, other sub-task leaders also presented on the annual progress of their respective topics, including "high-value development and utilization technology research of abalone flesh and abalone shells," "tetrodotoxin for the development of antiarrhythmic drug technology research," and "research on the development technology of drug-derived glucosamine mimetic peptides and marine antimicrobial peptides," along with their next step work plans. The expert group fully affirmed the achievements of the project over the past year and expressed their expectation that, on this basis, the research results of the project will be further promoted, applied, and closely integrated with the industry.
