In December 2013, the "Engineering Technology Research Center of Marine Microalgae Cultivation and Functional Component Development" in Fujian was established based on Runke Bioengineering (Fujian) Co., Ltd.
In order to accelerate the construction of a science and technology innovation system with enterprises as the mainstay, effectively enhance the independent innovation capabilities of enterprises, and support enterprises in establishing a number of engineering technology research centers, the Fujian Provincial Department of Science and Technology organized experts to evaluate the enterprise engineering technology research centers selected and recommended by the science and technology bureaus of various districts and cities this year. Runke Bioengineering (Fujian) Co., Ltd. was evaluated as an excellent enterprise, receiving a plaque and relevant subsidies.
