It fully covers ISO 22000 and combines with prerequisite programs of specific industry technical specifications. In addition, FSSC 22000 meets the additional requirements of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and has been fully recognized by GFSI.
International retail giants such as Metro, Walmart, and Carrefour have adopted FSSC 22000 certification as their entry standard. Large manufacturers like COFCO, Nestlé, Mondelez, PepsiCo, Danone, Coca-Cola, Carlsberg, P&G, Cargill, Mars, Ferrero, and McDonald's have also obtained FSSC 22000 certification and use it as a criterion to evaluate their suppliers.
